GRÜN Group acquires technical service provider ESCoor

Aachen-based GRÜN Group takes over GRÜN aixtema GmbH Lüneburg-based ESCoor Service Systems GmbH & Co. KG. Improved market position as an integrated IT and technology service provider. The 3.000 sqm Lüneburg location and all employees remain. GRÜN Group grows to 470 employees.

Aachen / Lüneburg, October 2, 2024. The Aacheners GRÜN IT Group GmbH takes over with your subsidiary GRÜN aixtema GmbH all shares of ESCoor Service Systems GmbH & Co. KG from Lüneburg. ESCoor is like GRÜN aixtema A technical service provider, it has been successfully providing after-sales services for over 31 years, with an annual throughput of over 100.000 devices for manufacturers in the IT, electronics, and medical industries, in a facility now covering 3.000 square meters. The company, with almost 50 employees, operates as a test and repair center for many well-known companies and brands, including Harman/Kardon, JBL, and HARTMANN Medical Products.

The aim of the partnership is to support the growth and development of ESCoor and at the same time to GRÜN aixtema Group as a larger and stable provider in the market of technology service providers: "By acquiring ESCoor, we are creating an excellent horizontal expansion of our company, can establish a necessary branch in Northern Germany and significantly improve our market position. In addition to synergy effects between the two larger repair centers, we are supplementing the capacities of the Lüneburg support area from Aachen and our Lüneburg colleagues are bringing with them a new business area as a certified laboratory for metrological controls (MTK) of medical technology products, which we intend to expand together," says Oliver Roßbruch, CEO and co-partner of GRÜN aixtema GmbH.

Current Managing Director Philipp Skrotzki is also pleased about the partnership: "In GRÜN, we have found a partner that will provide our customers, employees, and our services at the Lüneburg location with a strong future in a medium-sized business environment." Philipp Skrotzki will remain on the management board of the company, which will operate as GRÜN ESCoor GmbH & Co. KG starting in October, as authorized signatory and will ensure the company's long-term stability. As the new Managing Director of GRÜN ESCoor GmbH & Co. KG, Oliver Roßbruch will actively pursue the smooth integration of the branches in Aachen and Lüneburg. The locations in Aachen and Lüneburg, as well as all employees and contact persons, will remain.
